Q. How Do I Book?
We are an online booking only prom boutique, provided through our online booking system to make it easy for all our customer's. We cannot offer bookings via phone or emails due to high demand and to help reduce disappointments.
A booking fee is required to secure your slot of £20 on weekday appointments (£30 on weekends), This is to secure your appointment and allow Auralou-Prom to offer exclusivity.

Please be aware that we are a NO children boutique and booking parties can only accommodate up to three people included in your booking confirmation. We can however, offer additional party members, But here at Auralou-Prom we strongly advise keeping your party to a minimum as this eliminates additional stress and overwhelming opinions.

Q. Do you charge for appointments?
Yes, we do. To secure your appointment and allow Auralou Prom to offer an exclusive boutique experience, we require a booking fee at the time of scheduling.
Weekday Appointments (Monday–Friday):
A £10 booking fee is required. In the event of a no-show, an additional £20 no-show fee will be charged.
Weekend Appointments (Saturday–Sunday):
A £20 booking fee is required. In the event of a no-show, an additional £30 no-show fee will be charged.
All booking fees are non-refundable and are required to secure your appointment.

Q. Does Auralou-Prom offer Alterations on site?
Auralou-Prom suggests using the award-winning seamstress Lenka, who are based locally here in chepstow.

We advise booking your alterations appointments on the same day as purchasing your dress!
Lenka is an amazing seamstress and gets very busy, to avoid disappointment or complications booking sooner rather than later is advisable

Q. When should I start looking for my dress?
Q. What Is The Average Shipping Timeframe?
Shipping can be between 2-4months, depending on a few variables.
Dresses ARE available to take home on the same day from our sample sale selections but this does not include all styles or new orders.

Q. Is there parking nearby?

YES!
There is ample car parking in a local paid car park. (Please see linked PIN on home page) just a 1 minute walk away.
We are located just past Chepstow Library, Opposite AH Hairdressing.
Q. What sizes do you stock in store?
We stock a variety of sizes in store, from size 0-20uk.
If you are worried about sizing, please contact Auralou directly where we are happy to help and measure you that no matter what size or shape you are we have dresses to fit and make you feel as beautiful as you deserve to feel.
Our staff are trained to ensure we cater to all sizes and have the ability to adapt most dresses to fit a variety of body shapes.
Q. Does Auralou allow children in store?
We are a no children policy here at Auralou-Prom to ensure our brides have our full attention during your exclusive appointment.
However as a single mum of Three little ones my self I do have compassion for those who may struggle with childcare.

Q. What are the Do's and Donts before your appointment?
Our personal recommendation is to not leave it Too Late. Auralou-Prom offer a one dress per school Policy.
One dress per school policy helps reduce stress and an uncomfortable situation for our Prom goers. this however can mean that finding your dream dress sooner rather than later to secure your desired style is a priority. ​
Prom season starts as early as September the year prior. This is due to our latest season of dresses arriving around this time in the boutique and girls want the newest styles.
To help you have the best experience while finding your perfect prom dress, here are a few helpful tips.
Do’s

Have a budget in mind so we can guide you towards dresses within your price range.

Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to change in and out of.

Bring inspiration photos of styles or dresses you like.

Keep makeup light where possible to help protect our gowns.

Bring a small group of people whose opinions you value.

Most importantly — enjoy yourself! Prom dress shopping should be a fun and exciting experience.
Don’ts

Please avoid wearing perfume where possible to help protect our dresses. Deodorant is absolutely fine.

Try not to book too many appointments in one day, as this can become overwhelming. Taking photos and notes can help you remember your favourite dresses.
Q. Can I take pictures?
Yes we do allow pictures in our boutique of course, we know these memories are important.
HOWEVER, we do NOT allow you to take pictures of our TAGS!

We do allow pictures of the dresses on hangers or our mannequins but do not allow this content to be used for any additional marketing or promotional sales.
Q. What is your payment procedure?
When placing your order in store, we require a 50% deposit to secure your gown and then the remaining 50% on collection.
Please note that all sales are final with a strict Non-Refundable, Non-Transferable and Non-Exchangeable policy.
Q. Will you buy my second hand gown?
No!
Here at Auralou-Prom, we do not purchase second hand dresses no matter how gorgeous and good condition the gown.
We only buy directly from our chosen designers.
Q. Do you offer storage for my gown?
We encourage all customers to collect their dress within the 14-day collection period after being notified of its arrival. This helps us manage space in the boutique and keep gowns in the best condition.
In exceptional circumstances, short-term storage may be arranged. If required, this will be charged at £3 per week from the date the dress arrives in the boutique until it is collected.
Q. What happens if I am late or miss my appointment?
If you are more than 10 Minutes late for your appointment without 48 hours notice, this will result in you loosing this appointment.
on this occasion we are unable to offer refunds or rebooking.
This will require additional bookings made on your behalf and at your own expense.
